New from Textar – Composite Brake Discs!
TWO-PIECE BRAKE DISC FOR DEMANDING CAR BRAKE SYSTEMS.
The two-piece Textar brake discs each consist of a top hat and a friction ring, which are connected by means of rivets. By using aluminium for the top hat, weight savings of 15 – 20 percent can be achieved; by doing so, the so-called unsprung mass of the brake system is reduced. Therefore, in addition to improving the driving properties, the weight-reduced composite brake disc also contributes to a reduction of emissions.
The new Textar composite brake discs are available for many BMW models. They are a perfect addition to the Textar brake pads since the ideal brake result can only be achieved with brake discs which are perfectly matched to the brake pad.
The Textar brake disc range is manufactured in strict accordance to O.E. tolerances. For this reason, the new composite brake discs are the ideal friction partner for Textar brake pads in terms of safety, comfort and service life. All Textar composite brake discs come with fixing screws included in the box.
